TITLE: Treasury Clerk
REPORTS TO: Accounting Supervisor
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Corporate online banking experience with domestic & foreign accounts a plus.
- Meet department accuracy requirements and handle new projects as assigned
- Detailed oriented with a strong work ethic
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Maintain a positive attitude and proactive approach to assignments
- Must maintain an outstanding level of attendance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Positive Pay Exceptions & reports
- Deposits in client bank account & posting to client ledgers
- Release & mail client checks
- Ensure accuracy of proper check signatures & create advices for production to send to clients
- Shipping of client checks to include logging printed checks out of computer room, running tapes for accuracy & posting to client books
- Process monthly bank reconciliations, outstanding check reports & audit each client account
- Stop pay checks, void checks, returned checks & cleared check research
- Track uncashed checks for escheatment reports to production
- Initiate and/or approve outgoing wires & ACH payments
- Provide exceptional customer service to production for the benefit of our clients
Perform other duties as assigned
