About the Position

Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Computed Tomography (CT) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, Monday - Thursday Hours per Shift: 9:30 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: Minimum of 36 months in CT / Computed Tomography; hospital or medical center experience prioritized License: Active Iowa radiology license (highly preferred) Certifications: ARRT (CT), BLS Must-Have: Minimum of 36 months of CT / Computed Tomography experience Proficient experience using Siemens CT equipment Experience with all age groups ARRT (CT) certification Experience with contrast and power injection contrast injector (preferred) Recent Level II trauma experience Recent stroke imaging experience Description: The position involves performing Computed Tomography scans for all age groups. Candidates must have strong CT experience with Siemens equipment. A valid Iowa radiology license is highly preferred, but candidates under licensing consideration with a 1-3 week turnaround time will also be evaluated. Proficient experience with EPIC electronic health record system is required. Candidates must demonstrate experience in administering contrast and performing power injections. Recent experience in Level II trauma and stroke imaging is necessary. Work hours are primarily night shifts from Monday to Thursday. Teamwork and effective communication skills are essential in this role. Compliance with departmental policies and procedures is required.
