Coordinating the prior authorization and patient assistance program processes, the full-time Maryland Licensed Medication Access Coordinator will ensure timely access to prescribed therapies by collaborating with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients while working remotely. Key responsibilities Coordinate prior authorization and patient assistance processes for medications Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to gather necessary documentation Analyze requests for compliance with insurance guidelines and hospital policies Required qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Registration with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy required upon hire CPhT certification required by the PTCB or NHA 2+ years of experience in pharmacy, medical billing, and/or insurance verification
