This Monday through Friday assignment offers a consistent overnight schedule, stable hours, and the opportunity to play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure campus during non-business hours. No prior security experience? No problem. We will train the right candidate. If you are reliable, professional, and ready to work, we'll provide the tools and support you need to succeed. Shift Details Third Shift: Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM Full-time (40 hours per week) Consistent weekday overnight schedule Campus security assignment No rotating shifts Key Responsibilities Maintain a professional and visible security presence throughout campus Conduct routine foot patrols of buildings, parking areas, and campus grounds Monitor access points, alarms, and site conditions Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns Document daily activity and incidents using Belfry software Enforce campus policies and post orders Respond appropriately to security and safety incidents Secure campus buildings and property during overnight hours Communicate effectively with supervisors and authorized campus personnel Qualifications 18 years of age or older High school diploma or GED No security experience required – training provided Security, military, or law enforcement background is a plus, but not required Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional appearance and dependable attendance Ability to walk long distances and remain on foot for extended periods Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check Completion of in-person orientation required Pay & Benefits $18.00/hour Overtime pay for hours worked over 40 per week Paid Time Off: 24 hours after successful completion of probation Additional $0.25/hour for military veterans and retired law enforcement Consistent full-time schedule Why Join KRE Security?
