ELECTROMECHANICAL ASSEMBLER
Monday - Friday
2:30 PM - 11:30 PM
$22.00 - $27.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform basic mechanical fabrication tasks, including measuring, cutting, drilling, and using hand tools to support equipment assembly and repair.
- Install and remove breakers in electrical panels and switchboards following proper procedures and safety protocols.
- Prepare equipment to be rental ready, including cleaning, performing minor repairs, conducting touchup painting, replacing gaskets, and installing new filters.
- Properly torque fasteners, ensure torque values meet specifications, and apply appropriate torque markings.
- Perform electrical testing using a DLRO (Digital LowResistance Ohmmeter) and a Megger insulation resistance tester.
- Complete equipment checklists accurately and thoroughly to support quality assurance and documentation requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned , including but not limited to assisting in plant organization.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–3 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical work preferred (industrial or manufacturing setting a plus).
- Basic computer skills for completing checklists, documentation, and training modules.
- Basic proficiency with hand tools, mechanical assembly, and fabrication tasks.
- Fundamental understanding of electrical components (breakers, panels, switchboards) preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to follow technical instructions.
