The DRA will work closely with Professor Jishnu Das, at McCourt School of Public Policy and SFS, as well as gui2de’s research staff. The DRA will primarily work with Jishnu Das on (a) rolling out a health insurance study in Kenya and Nigeria; (b) harmonizing and analyzing a unique dataset of Standardized Patients studies; and (c) providing support on IRB applications and new data collection in the field.Additional duties include, but are not limited to:Data cleaning of datasets already collectedData analysis and production of graphs and materials for presentationsManagement of datasets and code for analysisSupervising field teams in Kenya and NigeriaProduction of replicable coding “do” files for publicationAssistance with funding and IRB applicationsWork InteractionsThe Data and Research Associate will work under the Principal Investigators and gui2de’s Research Managers and the Director of Research. The position will also supervise several student Research Assistants.Requirements and QualificationsBachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience required (or equivalent combination of education and work experience)Analytical experience with STATA, R, Overleaf/LaTeX, Git/Github preferredPreferred RequirementsMaster's degree with significant coursework on empirical methods and data analysisWork Mode DesignationThis position has been designated as Hybrid.
