Job Description:

MLR is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our client's healthcare team at a hospital in Northern California. As an FNP, you will play a vital role in providing primary care services to individuals and families in our community, making you a crucial part of the team.

Responsibilities for a Family Nurse Practitioner:

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.

• Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions.

• Ordered and interpreted diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families.

• Prescribe medications and other therapies as appropriate, adhering to state regulations and hospital protocols.

• Provide patient education on preventive care, disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices.

• Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, including specialists, to ensure holistic, integrated patient care.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to developing clinical protocols and guidelines.

• Stay current with advances in healthcare practices and regulations through continuing education and professional development activities.

FNP Job Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

• Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification from a recognized certifying body.

• Active and unrestricted license to practice as a California nurse Practitioner.

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an FNP, preferably in primary care or a similar setting.

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a patient-centered approach to care.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and record-keeping.

• Commitment to providing high-quality, culturally sensitive care to patients of all ages and backgrounds.

• Willingness to reside in or relocate to the Northern California area.
