Registered Nurse (RN) / Medical Surgical (MS)

Start date: 3-4 weeks out per compliance tier. Ratios: 1:5. First-time travelers: Yes. Years of experience required: 2; will consider 1+ year with Level I/Teaching Facility experience. Weekend requirement: Every other. Certifications required: ACLS, BCLS. Is on-call required? No. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes. Open to accommodating block schedule? No. Locals accepted: No, 75 mile radius. Pending license accepted: Yes. RTO restrictions: Please, no more than 7 days of RTO per 13 week contract. Guaranteed hours: Yes, 3 shifts per 13 weeks. The cancelled shifts must be the regular shift length to which the contractor personnel is assigned.

Special requirements: Drains, monitoring flaps post op, tracheostomy/total laryngectomy care, tube feeding, phlebotomy, IV access, and central line management. Telemetry required. ENT, plastic surgery unit. We care for patients with cuffed/cuffless tracheostomies, total laryngectomies, carotid blow out precautions, and free flap patients.

• If you are working a straight night shift: If you are working straight night shift, there is no charge for parking, and you may park in the employee parking (you will receive parking information during orientation).
• If you will be working a day/night rotation: You will have to obtain a parking pass for which there is a $70.00 fee per month. The garage that you will be parking in will be Clayton/Taylor Ave location. Bring your license plate number with you on your first day.
