Sales & Marketing Associate

Balboa Inspection and Maintenance is a provider of Inline inspection services to oil and gas pipeline operators. We a looking for a Sales & Marketing Associate. POSITION LOCATION: Houston / The Woodlands / Magnolia, TX What You’ll Do Pipeline building: Research target accounts (midstream, downstream, nuclear), identify decision makers, and maintain clean, accurate CRM data. Outbound support: Draft and send prospecting emails, make introduction calls, and book meetings for leadership. Marketing execution: Help create one-pagers, PowerPoint decks, case blurbs, and manage website/social updates; prep materials for conferences and trade shows. Proposal support: Assist with RFP checklists, pricing tables, and formatting of commercial/technical proposals. Event & demo logistics: Coordinate meetings, track action items, and ensure timely follow-ups. Competitive notes: Capture basic competitor intel (who, where, price positioning) and share concise summaries with the team. Reporting: Update weekly metrics (new leads, meetings set, pipeline stage moves) and surface simple insights. What You’ll Learn (Growth Track) 0–30 days: Tools, messaging, ICPs, and safety basics; shadow calls; clean up CRM data. 31–60 days: Own a small outbound sequence, craft 1–2 collateral pieces, schedule qualified meetings. 61–90 days: Support proposals end‑to‑end, run a booth checklist at one event, and manage a micro‑territory. High performers can progress to Account Executive / Sales Manager in 12–24 months. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, Communications, or similar. Clear, concise writing and strong phone/email presence. Detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable learning technical subjects. Proficiency with Microsoft 365; exposure to a CRM is a plus. Curiosity about energy, industrial tech, and robotics. Prior internships, campus leadership, or sales/marketing projects are great—but not required. Competitive nature (Ex: Played varsity sports) Nice‑to‑Haves Experience coordinating events or managing social/content calendars. Familiarity with oil & gas vocabulary or industrial B2B sales.
