The Chainlink stack provides the essential data, interoperability, compliance, and privacy standards needed to power advanced blockchain use cases for institutional tokenized assets, lending, payments, stablecoins, and more.Chainlink is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the Infrastructure Platform team responsible for building and operating the foundational cloud infrastructure that powers engineering velocity across the organization. This role exists to ensure product teams can reliably provision, deploy, and operate systems at scale while meeting strict security and compliance requirements. You will define and execute the strategy for internal infrastructure platforms, enabling fast iteration without compromising reliability or control.Your ImpactDeliver a scalable internal infrastructure platform on public cloud environments that enables engineering teams to provision and operate systems efficientlyEstablish and evolve Kubernetes-based platform capabilities to support high-availability, production-grade workloads at scaleAchieve and maintain 99.9% uptime SLOs across infrastructure systems critical to product deliveryEnable faster time from idea to production by improving provisioning workflows and reducing operational frictionEnsure infrastructure systems meet SOC2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 compliance requirements through robust access control and provisioning standardsBuild a secure and reliable foundation that supports CI/CD pipelines and minimizes operational risk across engineering teamsRequirementsExperience building and operating internal infrastructure platforms on public cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including provisioning, scaling, and reliability engineeringLed and managed high-performing teams of software or infrastructure engineers for 3+ years, including hiring, developing, and retaining talentDemonstrated ownership of Kubernetes at scale, including building or leading a K8s-based internal platform from the ground upOperated effectively in startup environments, navigating ambiguity while delivering foundational systems with lean teamsPreferred RequirementsExperience supporting SOC2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 compliance, particularly in infrastructure provisioning and access controlFamiliarity with CI/CD ecosystems and the infrastructure layers that support them, including runners, secrets management, and cloud networkingUnderstanding of security best practices in software delivery, including secure artifact management and compliance considerationsExposure to blockchain technologies, decentralized applications, or Web3 infrastructureExperience working with globally distributed, remote-first engineering teamsFamiliarity with infrastructure automation approaches using Go-based tooling or GitHub ActionsAll roles with Chainlink Labs are global and remote-based.
