RN Local/Internal Traveler - Med Surge/Tele

MTM Staffing - Registered Nurse (Travel) We are hiring experienced Registered Nurses for our in‑house travel team. Position Assignment Details Assignment: 11‑13 week assignment, with option to extend for 2 additional 13‑week assignments if available Pay: $65.00 per hour Benefits: Health insurance and 403(b) retirement plan eligibility Hours: 24 or 36 hours Shift: Night shift, 7:15 p.m. – 7:15 a.m. On‑call: Must work every other weekend and holiday, 1 weekend shift every week and every other holiday, or every weekend Area assignment: Med Surg Tele – Tobey Hospital – Wareham, MA May be asked to float to any Southcoast Hospital (Charlton Memorial‑Fall River, St. Luke's‑New Bedford, and Tobey–Wareham) Responsibilities Under the direction of the Manager, Patient Services, or the designee of the individual assigned unit, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching, and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served. Qualifications Current Southcoast Health System employees are not eligible. Former employees must have been separated for at least nine months to be eligible. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent. Current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Minimum of one year of Med Surg/Tele nursing experience. Competent in reading and interpreting basic telemetry strips. Ability to efficiently float to other like‑units for patient assignments. Working knowledge and experience with PC‑based applications. Epic experience is preferred. Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID‑19, or be exempt by signing a statement certifying exemption to be hired. #J-18808-Ljbffr Southcoast Health System
