The selected candidates will provide support the environmental, health, and safety programs of manufacturing areas and central services to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. This role works closely with employees, management, and external agencies to minimize risks and enhance workplace safety. Additionally, this role will help maintain safety records, track compliance activities, coordinate training sessions, and assist with reporting and documentation to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.Responsibilities:Embrace the Novelis Safety Absolutes to build a zero-injury culture and the Novelis cultural beliefs of Be Authentic, Say Anything, Be Open and Built Trust.Maintain and organize EHS records and documentation including preparing reports, tracking key safety and environmental data, and coordinating meetings, safety committees, and training sessions.Support and continuously update EHS policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policiesAssist in incident reporting and follow-up documentationConduct basic safety inspections, support waste disposal tracking and basic environmental compliance tasks.Support Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Confined Space, Machine Guarding, and PPE compliance program, and coordinate employee safety training and toolbox talks, ensuring all personnel understand workplace safety requirements.Minimum Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent required, Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred2-4 years experience in an industrial/heavy manufacturing environmentExperience in EHS, compliance or manufacturing supportFamiliarity with OSHA, First Aid, and other industrial regulations.What We Offer:Novelis' benefits say a lot about how we care for each other.
