As a global travel company powered by passionate people, trusted partnerships, and leading technology, we connect travelers, partners, and advertisers through our consumer brands, B2B network, and travel advertising business. Here, you'll do meaningful work that helps millions of people discover, book, and experience travel with more ease, confidence, and joy. Our five Behaviors-Traveler First, Think Big, Operate with Excellence, Ownership Mindset, and Succeed Together-help foster a supportive environment where people can grow their careers and have the flexibility, benefits, and support to do their best work. Join us and build for travelers everywhere. Senior Analytics Partner, People Analytics Introduction to Team Our Corporate Functions are made up of teams that support Expedia Group, including Employee Communications, Finance, Legal, People Team, Inclusion and Diversity, and Global Social Impact and Sustainability. As part of Expedia Group’s People Analytics team and sitting within our Analytics Partnership function, the Senior Analytics Partner is a senior expert and consultant who shapes and delivers the analytics agenda for our divisions and COEs. You operate comfortably at both the strategic and tactical levels, pairing big‑picture thinking with a hands‑on approach to analysis and execution. You put the traveler first by ensuring we leverage analytics to enable data‑driven strategies and decision making that realize business impact. In this role, you will: Analytics Delivery Translate business and people priorities into analytics opportunities and strategies that drive measurable business impact. Independently lead end‑to‑end analytics projects: clarify the business question, scope work into a clear SOW, translate complex business problems into the right analytical approach, iterate with stakeholders, and deliver executive‑ready narratives and recommendations. Turn complex data and analyses into simple, compelling visualizations and stories that inform decisions for both technical and non‑technical audience. Develop measurement strategies and define, build, and test new metrics that inform org health assessment, talent reviews, QBR/MBRS, and program/product impact. Document and automate recurring analytics tasks and deliverables to improve efficiency, quality, and speed. Serve as the bridge between customers (HR, business) and product team to help productize analytics into AI‑native, simplified product experiences that are tied to real business decisions. Partnerships and Consulting Partner closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Partners, COEs, and senior business leaders see around corners and influence strategies and decisions through data. Partner on identifying and delivering strategic analytics, metric development, and org health and talent insights to drive org effectiveness and business impact. Empower partners to self‑serve using our people insights products, while personally taking on the more complex and ambiguous analytics needs. Design and deliver engaging, consumable learning labs, office hours, and coaching to upskill partners on data literacy, product fluency, and AI‑assisted analytics. Support engagement surveys with division‑or COE‑level survey insights interpretation, delivery, and recommendations for actioning. Manage intake and prioritization of analytics requests, using clear principles and deep business/org knowledge to ensure on‑time delivery of high‑impact work. Coordinate feedback sessions for product design, UAT, pilots, and GTM strategy. People Analytics Collaboration Raise the bar with your Analytics Partners through peer feedback, reusable code and templates, thought leadership on new analytical methods, and business context to achieve a holistic view in driving business impact. Partner with Machine Learning Science to validate and scale models for optimal business value. Monitor data quality and needs, partnering with Data Engineering on new data sources, issue resolution, and table optimization. Surface user needs and feedback to Product team to shape the roadmap, influence feature prioritization, and continuously improve the UX of our products; define business requirements for product development and enhancements. Deliver knowledge exchange sessions for the entire People Analytics team to share best practices, project outcomes, and advance team awareness and capabilities. Mindset & EG Behaviors We Put the Traveler First – you anchor analytics priorities and contextualize insights in the impact they have on the teams who serve travelers and partners. We Think Big – you see around corners, identifying opportunities others don’t, bring innovative approaches and ideas, and approach work through a systems lens We Operate with Excellence – you raise the bar on execution through strong planning, documentation, analytics automation, and continuous improvement We have an Ownership Mindset – you look at the business as if it’s your own, thinking beyond your role to build organizational data‑driven decision making. We Succeed Together – you foster collaboration and candor—giving feedback directly, challenging and debating respectfully, disagreeing when necessary and committing fully to deliver as one team. Experience and qualifications: 6+ years of experience in People Analytics and consulting/stakeholder‑facing roles Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Analytics/Data Science, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related quantitative/behavioral field. Technical Skills: Fluent in R or Python, SQL, Tableau; experience with Qualtrics, DataBricks preferred. Proven ability working with large, unstructured data, extracting from multiple data sources (e.g., Workday, engineering productivity, sales), and combining into the required datasets for analytics and modeling. Advanced understanding of common data models, their assumptions, the business questions they can best answer, and data to best support the model. Demonstrated experience in using advanced statistical methods (e.g., predictive modeling; ONA a plus) to solve a variety of business challenges, selecting statistical techniques without using unnecessarily complex methods. Experience in designing and executing employee listening programs and results. Proficiency in using AI to accelerate analytics (e.g., framing problems, prompt engineering, assessing quality of AI‑generated code). Proven capability to produce a high volume of analytics work at pace, with strong attention to detail. Consulting/Partnering Skills: Demonstrated business acumen, problem‑framing, and critical thinking; ability to align people analytics with business strategy and guide decision making. Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, producing clear, simple, and executive‑ready narratives independently and presenting to senior leadership. Experience operating in complex, global, matrixed organizations as a high‑influence individual contributor who leads through expertise, influence, and relationships rather than direct authority. Success in building trusted relationships with HR partners and business leaders at all levels. Resilience, agility, and comfort with ambiguity in a fast‑changing environment.
