CRM is currently hiring an experienced Crane Operator for a commercial construction project in Montgomery, Alabama. We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused operator with experience operating various cranes in an active commercial construction environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Broderson IC-250 Industrial Carry Deck Crane
- Lift, move, position, and place construction materials and equipment
- Perform daily pre-operational inspections and report any mechanical issues
- Follow lift plans and communicate effectively with riggers and signal persons
- Maintain OSHA safety standards and company safety policies
- Work closely with superintendents and other trades to complete daily tasks
- Assist with general job site duties when crane operation is not required
Qualifications
- Previous crane operating experience required
- Valid NCCCO Crane Operator Certification (preferred; required if applicable to project requirements)
- Ability to read and understand load charts
- Knowledge of proper rigging and signaling procedures
- Strong commitment to job site safety
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work as needed
