This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 Hour Shift (06:45 AM - 07:15 PM) with holiday rotation and every other weekend requirement.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) performs respiratory therapy in accordance with established policies and procedures. The RRT will deliver high-quality patient care within the scope of practice and ensure compliance with the clinical standards of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients of all ages, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
• Conduct assessments, perform therapy treatments, and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement patient treatment plans.
• Float between various units, including critical care and labor and delivery as needed.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent critical care experience as an RRT.
• Currently possess a South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license.
• National certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT).
• No local candidates will be accepted for this position.
