A Caregiver's role in home care involves providing compassionate, dedicated support to individuals who need help with daily activities at home. This position focuses on enhancing the quality of life, ensuring safety, and fostering independence for clients with various health conditions or disabilities.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Support mobility and transfer needs to prevent falls and maintain safety
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
Provide medication reminders and monitor client health status
Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote physical and emotional well-being
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
Document care provided and report any changes in client condition promptly
