Mechanical Drafter - Source Engineering, Lynden WA

This is an in-person role at our Lynden, WA office - 98264

Wage: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour - DOE

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:300pm - on site Lynden WA, 98264

Friday 7:00am - 11:00am on site Lynden WA, 98264

Role: The Mechanical Drafter’s role, as part of the engineering department, is to create or modify drawings. They will foster positive and productive communication across stakeholders with thorough planning, careful tracking to ensure successful execution of each of their projects.

Position Responsibilities:

• Produce Mechanical drawings of existing SolidWorks models.
• Create basic sales models and drawings.
• Create and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Create and modify equipment Operations & Maintenance manuals for Source Engineering equipment.
• Generate BOM’s for purchasing.
• Facilitate engineering change requests as assigned by Supervisor.
• Learn Source Engineering drafting standards and follow them consistently.

Competencies Required:

• Strong Mechanical aptitude.
• Solidworks or equivalent 3D modeling software experience.
• Actively seeks and incorporates constructive feedback to continuously improve.
• Good technical writing and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Hands-on shop experience or equivalent.
• Desire and commitment to adapt to grow.

• A passion for serving others with a positive attitude.
