Banquets Team MemberWe are looking for an ambitious and fun individual to join our hard-working banquets team at the Le Meridien | Sheraton Charlotte Hotel Complex. Our goal is to enhance the customer experience by having an enthusiastic staff to ensure event guests are well taken care of!Ensure that details are followed from the banquet event order (BEO)Provide guests with the finest quality of service at all times and in a warm and enthusiastic mannerEnsure that the banquet area is maintained in a clean, organized, and safe conditionEnsure that at the close of a function and at the end of the workday, all banquet rooms are cleared and securely locked, and ensure all equipment is stored in the designated areaAlways be present in room and greet guests upon arrivalSubmit maintenance requests to the engineering department for broken or damaged equipmentAssist staff with room set ups, food service, and clean up when necessaryComply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing lawsMaintain equipment in good conditionReport on any shortages, damages or security issuesHandle reasonable guests' complaints/requests and inform others when required$15.00 + tips!FREE Lunch and FREE Parking.Skills to be successful in this role would include:Ability to work independently and remain motivatedSmileProven working experience in relevant fieldHelpful with customer serviceProfessionalism along with speed and attention to detailEOE - All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
