Physical Therapist Role Overview Under the supervision of Therapy Leadership, the Physical Therapist performs objective assessments and develops comprehensive individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients, ensuring adherence to departmental policies and standards of treatment. Physical Therapist Role Overview Under the supervision of Therapy Leadership, the Physical Therapist performs objective assessments and develops comprehensive individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients, ensuring adherence to departmental policies and standards of treatment. Key Responsibilities Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision to rehabilitation technicians. Supervise PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Perform duties in alignment with organizational mission, values, and service standards. Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor’s, Master of Science, or Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Licensure: Current or temporary Physical Therapy license in the practice state. Certifications: BLS certification required and must be current. Preferred experience includes 6 months to 1 year working with adult and geriatric patients. Physical ability to push, pull, lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting, and squatting.
