Forklift Operator

Job Description As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations. Your primary responsibility will be to handle the movement of products and materials within our shop and yard , ensuring a seamless flow of goods. You will work closely with our team, providing support and assistance as needed, and adhering to all HSE, Quality, and HR guidelines. Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products efficiently.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring accurate and timely receipt and shipment.
- Collaborate with the shop crew, offering assistance and support during daily operations.
- Follow all HSE protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Comply with quality standards and procedures to ensure product integrity.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, promoting a safe and efficient workflow.
- Perform regular equipment checks and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Communicate effectively with the team, reporting any issues or concerns promptly.
- Adhere to all HR policies and procedures, promoting a positive work culture.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Valid forklift operator certification and relevant experience.
- Excellent physical condition with the ability to lift and move heavy materials.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with the team.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Basic understanding of HSE and quality standards.
- Willingness to undergo additional training as required.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities.
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
