Job Description

As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations. Your primary responsibility will be to handle the movement of products and materials within our shop and yard , ensuring a seamless flow of goods. You will work closely with our team, providing support and assistance as needed, and adhering to all HSE, Quality, and HR guidelines.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products efficiently.
Load and unload materials, ensuring accurate and timely receipt and shipment.
Collaborate with the shop crew, offering assistance and support during daily operations.
Follow all HSE protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
Comply with quality standards and procedures to ensure product integrity.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, promoting a safe and efficient workflow.
Perform regular equipment checks and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Communicate effectively with the team, reporting any issues or concerns promptly.
Adhere to all HR policies and procedures, promoting a positive work culture.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Valid forklift operator certification and relevant experience.
Excellent physical condition with the ability to lift and move heavy materials.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
Good communication skills for effective collaboration with the team.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Basic understanding of HSE and quality standards.
Willingness to undergo additional training as required.
Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities.
A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
