This full-time, on-site position is ideal for entry-level professionals looking to make a meaningful impact in the Medical Practice industry. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to patients undergoing radiation therapy treatments.
In this position, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality radiation treatment plans, operating sophisticated equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout their treatment journey. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to contribute to improved patient outcomes and support the overall mission of our healthcare organization.
Responsibilities
- Administer radiation treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the medical team
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families
- Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Document patient treatment plans and progress accurately
- Participate in continuing education and training programs
