Job Title: Packer / Mover, temp-to-hireLocation: Jacksonville, NC Job Description:Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable, full-time Packer to join our team. This role involves carefully packing customers' personal belongings, assisting with loading and unloading, and riding along with a teammate to complete deliveries. If you're reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with physical work, this could be a great fit. Pay: $13-$16 per hour (based on experience) Opportunity to earn commission after permanent hire Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (or later, depending on job completion, must be flexible) Responsibilities: Pack household and personal items safely and efficiently Lift and carry boxes weighing approximately 20-50 lbs Assist with loading/unloading moving trucks Travel with a team member to job sites and delivery locations Provide careful handling of customers' belongings Requirements: Must be able to stand, bend, crouch, push, pull, and stoop for long-hours, repetitively Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Strong work ethic and reliability Comfortable working in a physically active environment Background check and drug test required Previous packing or moving experience is a plus, but not required DBIDs/Base access preferred Additional Information:Candidates must be dependable and professional, as this role involves working directly with customers and handling personal property.
