apexanalytix is seeking an experienced Head of Product to own product strategy and execution across apexanalytix's full platform.

The portfolio spans three connected pillars - supplier onboarding, supplier risk management, and audit and recovery - delivered through a configurable enterprise platform, a self-service data validation and risk API business, and a supplier-facing community platform, with a substantial AI and automation capability underpinning all of them. apexanalytix has also been named Risk Management Company of the Year by SupplyTech Breakthrough and rated the top Supplier Relationship Management and Risk solution by Spend Matters.

This role sits at the center of the business - translating customer and market needs into a coherent, prioritized roadmap across that portfolio, and holding product managers and cross-functional partners in Engineering, Design and Go-to-Market accountable to it. This is a player-coach role: you'll set direction across the full portfolio while staying close enough to individual product areas to make sharp calls when it matters.

This role will lead a team of product managers covering apexanalytix's core product lines, working in close collaboration with Engineering, Sales, Customer Success and Marketing to ensure the roadmap reflects both customer value and business priority.

The Portfolio:

Supplier management and risk platform. Multi-tenant enterprise SaaS covering supplier registration and onboarding, self-registration and invite flows, document collection and e-signature, validation gates, approval and status workflow, risk scoring and scorecards, segmentation, revalidation, ERP integration, tax and withholding validation, and consent management. This platform is delivered largely through configuration rather than code - dozens of distinct tenant-scoped configurable surfaces mean a significant share of what a client experiences as "the product" is a configuration decision, not a release.

QubitOn. A product-led, self-service data validation and risk API business with a published price list from a free tier through pay-as-you-go, Pro and Enterprise. Over 70 capabilities spanning data validation, banking and financial verification in 180+ countries, global tax ID and regulatory validation, business intelligence and golden-record matching, compliance and watchlist screening, risk scoring, monitoring and questionnaires - backed by 280M+ verified golden records from 1,000+ sources across 250+ countries. Packaged offerings include BankPro and Registration Essentials, and the platform is also delivered through a self-service developer portal.

Conductor. The supplier-side platform, serving our clients' suppliers and customers rather than the clients themselves: signup, identity and passkey authentication, invite and onboarding flows, invoice visibility and risk information. This is the second side of a two-sided market, with its own adoption dynamics.

Cyberrisk. Third-party and supplier cyber risk monitoring, adjacent to the supplier risk and TPRM capability in the core platform.

Audit, recovery and payment integrity. The accounts payable and contract compliance recovery audit practices - apexanalytix is the largest commercial AP recovery audit firm in the world - and firststrike® Fraud Detect, the duplicate payment prevention product that grew out of our audit algorithms and has run in daily client operations since 2006. A services-plus-software business with a contingency commercial model.

apexanalytix Learn. Subscription-based training and enablement.

AI-enabled capability. A significant AI and automation capability - document intelligence, conversational assistants, supplier intelligence, ESG scoring and AI-assisted audit - built and delivered by a separate AI & Automation organization. This role owns what is packaged, positioned and priced from it for clients, and the prioritized demand signal into that organization.

Trusted Advisor
• Leverages deep subject-matter expertise across apexanalytix's product portfolio to advise executive leadership on product strategy and investment trade-offs.
• Acts as the voice of the customer and internal advocate, ensuring insights from enterprise clients (many on the Global 2000) shape the roadmap rather than getting lost between teams.
• Partners with Engineering, Design and Go-to-Market leaders to translate business priorities into a shared, prioritized product roadmap.
• Roles and Requirements
• Owns end-to-end product strategy and roadmap across apexanalytix's core product lines, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy and value-creation priorities.
• Leads, mentors and develops a team of product managers, setting a consistent bar for discovery, prioritization and go-to-market execution across product areas.
• Partners with Engineering leadership to translate roadmap priorities into delivery plans, balancing new feature development against platform investment.
• Owns the commitment-to-delivery discipline: every commitment made to a client, prospect or analyst has a named owner, an entry in the delivery system of record, and a date Engineering has agreed to.
• Owns the configuration-versus-code boundary for the supplier management platform - deciding what becomes a configurable capability, what remains a per-tenant configuration, and what becomes a product feature - and is accountable for the long-run support and upgrade cost of that choice.
• Drives customer discovery and market research to validate product bets, working directly with enterprise customers, Sales and Customer Success.
• Owns the supplier-side product experience as a first-class concern with its own adoption metrics, not as a downstream consequence of client-side decisions.
• Defines and tracks product success metrics - adoption, retention, revenue impact, API consumption and supplier activation - and reports progress to executive leadership.
• Leads pricing and packaging decisions in partnership with Finance and Sales leadership across materially different commercial models: enterprise SaaS subscription, usage-metered self-service API with a published free tier, contingency-based recovery audit services, and subscription-based offerings such as apexanalytix Learn.
• Represents Product in executive reviews and with industry analysts, providing clear, data-driven narratives on roadmap progress and business impact.
• Champions a consistent product management practice - discovery frameworks, roadmap cadence, prioritization criteria - across the team.

Required Skills
• 10+ years of product management experience, including 4+ years leading and developing a team of product managers.
• Experience owning product strategy for a B2B enterprise SaaS platform, ideally serving large, complex enterprise customers.
• Direct experience with at least two distinct commercial models - enterprise subscription, usage-metered/API, marketplace or network, or services-attached.
• Experience with a self-service or product-led growth motion, including free-tier design, conversion funnel, usage-based pricing and developer experience.
• Experience with a highly configurable enterprise product, and a clear point of view on where configurability creates leverage and where it creates unmanageable divergence.
• Strong technical fluency - comfortable partnering directly with engineering leadership on architecture and platform trade-offs, even without a hands-on engineering background.
• Proven track record turning customer and market insight into a prioritized, well-communicated roadmap.
• Experience with pricing/packaging strategy and business-case development for new products or product lines.
• Strong executive presence - able to represent Product credibly in front of executive leadership, industry analysts and, as needed, the Board.
• Experience working with a distributed engineering organization across US and India time zones.
• Strong communication skills.

Preferred
• Experience in supply chain, procurement, accounts payable, fintech, audit, third-party risk or data/analytics domains.
• Experience with a two-sided or network product where adoption on the non-paying side determines the value of the paying side.
• Experience packaging and pricing AI capability as a product, including the guardrail, assurance and liability considerations that accompany it.
• Experience in regulated or attested environments (SOC 2, FedRAMP) where compliance shapes the roadmap.
• Education Levels/Credentials (Degree types and Emphasis) - Undergraduate degree required; MBA or other graduate business degree a strong plus but not required.

Location
• apexanalytix Headquarters (HQ) at Greensboro, NC, USA (hybrid).

Travel required - occasional, including periodic travel to the Noida, India GCC and to enterprise clients.

Scope Boundaries:

This role owns what gets built and why, for whom, and at what price. Engineering delivery and release execution sit with the VP, Head of Software Development; technical architecture with the Architect; platform strategy and infrastructure investment with the SVP, Global Head of Engineering & Infrastructure; security policy and compliance attestation with the CISO; and AI and automation delivery with a separate AI & Automation organization.
