Job Title: Mechanical Assembler – Semiconductor Fluid Delivery Systems

Job Description

This role focuses on building and assembling high-quality cabinets and mechanical subassemblies used in fluid delivery and process systems for the semiconductor industry. You will use hand and power tools, follow detailed assembly drawings and work instructions, and ensure each product meets strict engineering and customer requirements in a clean, modern manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cabinets, frames, panels, and mechanical subassemblies used in fluid delivery processing systems for semiconductor equipment.

• Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, schematics, and detailed work instructions to complete assemblies accurately.

• Use hand tools and power tools, including drills, drivers, and measuring devices, to perform precise mechanical assembly work.

• Install hardware, brackets, fittings, tubing, and mechanical components according to engineering specifications and standards.

• Verify proper fit, alignment, and functionality of assembled components and subassemblies before release.

• Perform quality inspections on assemblies to ensure they meet engineering specifications and customer requirements.

• Maintain accurate production documentation, assembly records, and any required checklists or logs.

• Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to resolve assembly issues and support process improvements.

• Follow all safety procedures, use required personal protective equipment, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to meeting or exceeding production schedules and output goals.

Essential Skills

• Hand tool experience and confidence working with a variety of hand and power tools.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and mechanical inclination for detailed assembly work.

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, mechanical, or production environments.

• Ability to perform detailed mechanical assembly in a manufacturing setting with a focus on precision and quality.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.

• Strong attention to detail and a consistent commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods during the shift.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Willingness and ability to follow all safety procedures and maintain an organized work area.

• Ability to work the specified training and swing shift schedules, including potential overtime.

• Steel-toe footwear, suitable for a production and assembly environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical assembly of fluid delivery cabinets or similar equipment in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience with electrical assembly, including wiring, cable routing, and interpretation of electrical schematics.

• Familiarity with assembling semiconductor processing tools or related high-tech equipment.

• Comfort working at an assembly bench, building out cabinets and subassemblies from start to finish.

• Interest in long-term opportunities, with potential for contract-to-hire for high-performing team members.

Work Environment

The role is based in a clean, modern manufacturing environment focused on advanced semiconductor equipment. You will work primarily at an assembly bench building fluid delivery cabinets and mechanical subassemblies using hand and power tools such as drills, drivers, and measuring devices. Initial training runs Monday through Thursday from 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., followed by a swing shift schedule of Monday through Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., with overtime opportunities on Friday. The facility emphasizes safety and organization, requiring steel-toe footwear and adherence to all safety procedures. The environment is team-oriented, with close interaction among engineering, quality, and manufacturing personnel, and offers stable project work extending through at least early 2026, with high performers considered for long-term roles..

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.10/hr.
