Job Summary To provide a clean and pleasant environment for the guest, by maintaining the cleanliness and the appearance of guest accommodations and public space. This position may spend a large amount of time assisting other departments in a wide variety of duties based on the needs of the hotel.Duties and Responsibilities Including, but not limited to: 1. Greet and welcome the guest. Offer assistance to the guest and respond to theguest's needs promptly and courteously.2. Clean corridors, guest areas, lobby, service areas and linen closets3. Empty housekeepers' trash and linen bags4. Carry trash to dumpster5. Deliver rollaway beds and cribs to guestrooms6. Turn mattresses as directed by management7. Stock supplies needed for linen closets8. Vacuum public areas and corridors9. Mop vending machine areas and keep machines clean10. Check and clean all public restrooms several times daily11. Check an clean all elevators several times daily12. Assist with luggage handling13. Strip beds and/or clean rooms when needed14. Check lights and change bulbs15. Maintain outside grounds daily16. Assist in the unloading and storing of deliveries17. Complete duties and confirm on shift checklist as assigned18.
