Position: Occupational Therapist

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist (OT) plays a crucial role in evaluating, planning, and implementing personalized treatment programs designed to help patients develop, recover, or maintain essential daily living and work skills. You will assist participants in achieving optimal independence, safety, and quality of life through therapeutic interventions that align with interdisciplinary care plans.

Responsibilities include:

Conducting home-based safety assessments.
Delivering skilled therapeutic interventions in various settings including therapy gyms, day centers, and patients' homes.
Coordinating durable medical equipment (DME) and other supportive services to enhance participant independence and quality of life.
Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, therapists, and social workers to provide comprehensive care.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to improve participants' strength, mobility, daily living skills, and confidence, making a significant impact on their independence and overall well-being.

About the Program

The position supports a nationally recognized Medicare and Medicaid program that delivers comprehensive medical and supportive services for older adults who wish to continue living safely in their communities.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current NBCOT registration.
Current Colorado Occupational Therapist license (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
2-3 years of experience in Occupational Therapy.
Experience working with older adults or geriatric populations.
