Auto Body Shop EstimatorDARCARS Collision Center of Baltimore is now hiring for an Auto Body Shop Estimator!As an Auto Body Shop Estimator you will inspect and appraise customer's vehicles to determine cost of repairs for damages that will be billed as an insurance claim or customer expense. This role will also include working directly with customers and/or insurance companies to ensure a seamless repair process while providing excellent customer service.Benefits:Paid Manufacturer TrainingPaid ICAR TrainingComprehensive Benefits Plan including 401kEmployee discounts on vehicle purchases, parts and service repairsPTO and Paid HolidaysOpportunities to join our community service initiativesInternal career advancement opportunitiesIn this role, you will:Examine damage to customer vehicles to locate structural, body, mechanical or interior damagesEstimate repair costs including supplies, parts, and laborCalculate customer payments including deductibles for repaired itemsManage claim process for customers by obtaining estimates from insurance companies and reviewing with insurance adjusterMaintain customer report by explaining estimate and expected return of vehicleMaintain high-quality repairs and minimize comebacksConduct spot checks of each completed job for thoroughness and qualityReconcile and prepare final invoices matching approved estimatesQualifications & Requirements:3+ years of previous automotive estimator experienceKnowledge of major insurance program protocols and have the ability to upload estimates/images that meet those standards accordinglyPrior experience as an estimator highly preferredI-Car or other industry training historyAutomotive certifications a plusHigh school degree or equivalentMust be a minimum of eighteen years of ageMust have a valid Driver's LicenseMust be able to pass pre-employment screen (background)This job advertisement in no way states or implies that these are the only duties and responsibilities to be performed by this employee.
