Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients across all age groups utilizing standardized tests and hands-on observation.
• Formulate individualized treatment plans that cater to both immediate and long-term communicative, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions focusing on language, fluency, voice, and swallowing techniques.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational and physical therapists, nurses, physicians, family members, and caregivers to design integrated care plans.
• Provide education and resources for patients and family members to ensure progress continues outside of therapy sessions.
• Contribute to inpatient speech therapy assessments and treatments as needed to guarantee continuity of patient care.
• Maintain thorough and precise documentation in line with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and community learning opportunities to enhance your expertise.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a regionally accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), unless you are already ASHA certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
