Title / Location / Reporting Occupational Therapy Assistant; In facility; Reporting to Director of Rehab. Responsibilities As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well. You implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments. You address the whole patient, seeing them as an individual, and execute programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence. You adapt to the needs of each patient, find joy in a variety of settings, collaborate with peers, and make referrals to support patient care. You keep patients and families informed and ensure the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards. Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
