Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Illinois licensure (LSW or LCSW) or eligibility for state credentialing
• Previous experience providing social work services within a school or educational environment
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, crisis intervention, and mental health support
• Ability to create and implement behavior support plans and work as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions focused on student social-emotional growth
• Assess students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs; develop intervention plans as needed
• Serve as a liaison between school, families, and community resources
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student support plans
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to foster a positive, inclusive school culture
• Provide crisis intervention services and support as necessary
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of student interactions
