Laboratory Manager

A leading chemical manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Lab Manager to oversee laboratory operations and quality functions within a manufacturing environment. The position will lead laboratory personnel, support quality control initiatives, partner with manufacturing and technical teams, and ensure analytical testing, documentation, and quality systems meet operational and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead, organize, and oversee daily operations of the Analytical Laboratory. Manage, mentor, and develop laboratory personnel while promoting a collaborative and high-performance team environment. Maintain and improve quality assurance programs to ensure accurate analytical testing and continuous improvement. Develop and maintain laboratory procedures, analytical methods, and programs supporting the quality management system. Identify improvement opportunities aligned with business objectives. Manage the acceptance or rejection of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products based on specifications and testing requirements. Oversee laboratory equipment maintenance, calibration programs, service contracts, and documentation. Train and develop laboratory personnel to ensure compliance with procedures and quality standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related field required. 5+ years of laboratory leadership experience. Manufacturing industry experience required. Experience managing laboratory teams and laboratory quality systems. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
