Patriot Foundry is on the hunt for an up-and-coming individual looking to become a manufacturing leader and a key member of our team in Franklin, NH. We value the drive to take on responsibility, learn, and grow into a successful Plant Manager rather than years of experience. The chosen candidate will be trained in and responsible for all onsite operations including planning, production, purchasing, and product delivery.The position offers a competitive salary of $60,000 - $70,000 annually based on experience and qualifications. Having been operational for nearly 40 years, we specialize in a diverse range of technologies to produce superior bronze, aluminum, and zinc castings, with an emphasis on innovation and quality.Day in the Life:As a Plant Manager, your primary responsibilities will entail:Developing production schedules based on due dates, material availability, staffing, and equipment constraintsOverseeing manufacturing operations including purchasing, production runs, external operations, and shippingManaging staff including training, providing support, and promoting a positive work cultureEnsure equipment is kept in working order and arrange for regular cycles of preventative maintenanceInteracting with production and engineering staff to ensure quality issues are resolved and documentedMaintaining a compliant work environment in accordance with safety and environmental regulatory requirementsCompleting documentation in line with ISO 9001 requirements including KPIs, inspection logs, nonconformances, and corrective actionsIf you are looking to elevate your career in manufacturing, your next opportunity awaits! Requirements:Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated Reliability, Initiative, Adaptability and Keen Attention to Detail.Understanding of metallurgy basics and metalworking principlesAbility to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical documentsAbility to perform physical duties such as lifting 30+ pounds, bending, twisting, and standing for long periods of time.U.S. citizenship or documented residencyBe 18+ years oldPreferences:Foundry experience with knowledge of casting processes, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.Understanding of OSHA regulations, industrial hygiene, and environmental complianceExperience in executing Quality Management Systems like ISO 9001Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems for Planning, Purchasing, and Inventory ManagementExperience in the use or maintenance of Manufacturing Equipment
