Attorney Recruiting Assistant

Job Summary A professional legal services organization in Miami is seeking an Attorney Recruiting Assistant for a direct-hire opportunity. This role supports attorney recruiting, lateral hiring, law student recruiting, interview coordination, candidate communications, and recruiting event logistics in a polished law firm environment. The Attorney Recruiting Assistant is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and interested in building a career in legal recruiting, human resources, or professional services administration. This position offers exposure to attorneys, recruiting professionals, candidates, law schools, and internal stakeholders while supporting a busy and collaborative recruiting function. This is a fully onsite role in a professional office setting with strong team interaction, structured processes, and the opportunity to contribute to a highly visible function within the firm. Key Responsibilities Coordinate virtual and in-person interviews between attorneys, lateral candidates, law students, and internal recruiting stakeholders. Maintain recruiting databases, candidate files, application materials, and confidential candidate information with accuracy and discretion. Support law student recruiting activities, including application packets, on-campus interviews, callbacks, offers, resume collections, and event registration. Post attorney job descriptions to the firm website and recruiting platforms, and assist with search firm fee agreement documentation. Collect and distribute interview feedback, greet candidates onsite, and help manage candidate communications throughout the recruiting process. Assist with recruiting events, summer associate program logistics, travel coordination, invoices, and administrative support for the recruiting department. Compensation and Benefits Salary: $55,000 to $60,000 per year. Employment Type: Direct Hire. Location: Miami, FL. Work Arrangement: Fully onsite, no remote work. Required Qualifications and Skills Coordinate attorney recruiting interviews, candidate communications, and recruiting logistics. Support law student recruiting, on-campus recruiting activities, callbacks, offers, and recruiting events. Maintain recruiting databases, candidate files, application materials, feedback, and confidential documentation. Assist with recruiting department administration, including postings, invoices, travel logistics, and event support. Bachelor’s degree required. 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred in recruiting coordination, legal recruiting, human resources, professional services, or administrative support. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Ability to handle confidential information with sound judgment and discretion. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build professional relationships with attorneys, candidates, law schools, and internal teams. Ability to work independently and collaboratively while responding appropriately to time-sensitive matters. Preferred Qualifications Experience with an Applicant Tracking System. Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter. Prior experience in a law firm, legal services environment, recruiting department, or professional services setting. Familiarity with attorney recruiting, lateral recruiting, law student recruiting, or summer associate program support.
