IT Help Desk Technician

IT Help Desk TechnicianThe IT Help Desk Technician is responsible for providing comprehensive day-to-day IT support and technical assistance to employees while helping maintain reliable, efficient, and secure technology operations across the organization. This role supports users with hardware, software, workstations, and other technology needs; coordinates with internal teams, third-party IT providers, and vendors to resolve technical issues; and assists with the deployment, maintenance, and management of IT equipment and resources.Duties and ResponsibilitiesWorks closely with internal and external stakeholders to support office technology initiatives, relocations, and infrastructure projects.Provides first-level technical support to staff via phone, email, chat, or ticketing system.Maintains IT asset tracking, equipment deployment, and inventory management processes.Coordinates with third-party IT service providers and vendors to support IT operations and resolve technical issues.Prepares, configures, deploys, and relocates workstations for new hires and existing employees as needed.Installs, configures, and troubleshoots hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.Participates in the testing and evaluation of software and hardware solutions to determine effectiveness and usability.Prepares software and hardware evaluations and provides recommendations for management review.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
