Prep CookDo you love cooking with farm fresh organic ingredients? We are accepting letters of interest and resumes for an experienced Prep Cook to join our Culinary Arts Team. The starting wage is $19-20 per hour based on experience. Schedule is 30-40 hours a week (Tuesday through Saturday). Saturdays are mandatory. Restaurant kitchen experience a plusKnowledge of farming/ gardening/ seasonal produceAbility to follow & duplicate recipes for consistently high-quality mealsAbility to maintain a pleasant environment of cleanliness & organizationKnowledge of health & safety rules in a kitchenAble to take direction and work in a teamSelf motivated, quick and diligent and willing to improve on the jobAdaptable – will be working alongside a rotating volunteer crew with a range of skill setsCalifornia Food Handlers Card & CertificationMust be able to work SaturdaysMust be able to meet physical requirements of standing, twisting, bending, repetitive motion and lifting 10-50 lbs regularlyExpected to perform prep list tasks like vegetable chopping, basic cooking duties such as soup and salad preparation, fruit filling for desserts.
