Radiology - Imaging Physician

Job Summary Mercy Radiology Group, a private practice affiliated with Dignity Health and CommonSpirit Health, seeks a Breast Radiologist to join our team in Redding, CA. This role focuses on all facets of breast radiology in a supportive, team‑oriented environment. Responsibilities Perform breast tomosynthesis examinations on Hologic equipment. Conduct breast biopsies using ultrasound, stereotactic, and MRI guidance. Interpret screening mammograms at the dedicated workstation. Maintain a manageable patient load with an emphasis on quality and patient satisfaction. Optionally provide advanced imaging of other modalities, ER/in‑patient radiology, general radiology, and remote clinical work from home. Participate in general radiology services (preferred). Assume leadership roles within the breast section, imaging centers, hospitals, or the practice governing committee as opportunities arise. Work Settings Schedule: 8:00 am – 5:30 pm, four days per week; full‑time with part‑time options. Purely breast‑focused practice; opportunities for partnership track. 100% radiologist‑owned and operated. Low turnover environment. Compensation & Benefits Annual partner compensation: $500,000 – $550,000 with ~$100,000 profit share (total $650,000). Sign‑on bonus: $75,000 for full‑time positions. Relocation bonus available. Competitive CME stipend and personal equipment budget. Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility. Fully paid top‑tier health insurance, malpractice insurance, and a “supermatch” 401(k) plan. Eight weeks vacation. Qualifications Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Radiology. Fellowship training in Breast Imaging preferred. Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient‑centered care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to participate in general radiology (preferred). Location Redding, CA – small‑city charm with abundant outdoor recreation, close to Sacramento and the Bay Area, and a lower cost of living.
