HeartcoR Solutions is a rapidly growing cardiac core laboratory partnering with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies to support clinical trials worldwide. We provide specialized cardiac safety services, including ECG over-read, Holter monitoring, telemetry (TTM/CCM), and advanced cardiac monitoring solutions tailored to each clinical study. Role Description As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated Data Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timely delivery of clinical trial data while working alongside a collaborative team dedicated to advancing cardiovascular research. The Data Manager is responsible for overseeing the collection, validation, reconciliation, and delivery of clinical trial data throughout the lifecycle of assigned studies. This role serves as a critical link between sponsors and internal teams, ensuring high-quality data management practices that support regulatory compliance and successful study execution. Working closely with Project Management, Cardiac Technicians, Quality & Compliance, and sponsor teams, the Data Manager will manage study databases, coordinate data transfers, resolve discrepancies, and maintain essential documentation from study startup through closeout. Responsibilities Manage data management activities for assigned clinical studies from startup through closeout. Develop and maintain Data Transfer Agreements (DTAs). Generate, review, validate, and quality check clinical data files. Perform data cleaning, reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution. Maintain study documentation within the Trial Master File (TMF). Coordinate scheduled data transfers to sponsors and internal stakeholders. Configure and maintain studies within HeartcoR systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely data delivery. Participate in customer meetings and provide data management support. Assist with database testing and validation activities. Support continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency. Ensure compliance with SOPs, GCP guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Health Informatics, Data Management, Healthcare, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2–5 years of experience in clinical research or clinical data management. Experience working with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems or web-based clinical data platforms. Strong knowledge of clinical data collection, cleaning, validation, and reconciliation. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience using data analysis tools; SQL experience is a plus. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work on-site in Schaumburg, Illinois. Preferred Experience in cardiology, ECG, Holter, cardiac safety, or core laboratory environments. Familiarity with clinical trial regulations, GCP, and data management best practices.
