As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by managing access points, verifying credentials, monitoring alarm panels, and responding to security-related concerns. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food production location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, following visitor and contractor entry procedures, and maintaining accurate access records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Report security-related observations, access-control issues, and unusual activity to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
