Registered Nurse ICU

ICU Critical Care Nurse

Provide specialized critical care nursing services in the ICU environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort while adhering to hospital policies and standards. This role requires delivering expert clinical care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop personalized care plans for ICU patients.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Utilize ICU equipment such as vents, Swan-Ganz catheters, Impella devices, and balloon pumps.
• Monitor patient vital signs, laboratory results, and clinical data to detect changes in condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and support staff.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in the EMR.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 1 year of ICU nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with ICU equipment and procedures.
• Hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, critical environments.
• Preferably possess Level 1 or 2 trauma experience or cardiac surgery background.
