Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Sisters of Mercy Convent | Savannah, GA
$17.00 – $21.00 per hour

2 Per Diem

1 Limited Part-Time (24 hours hours bi- weekly)

Openings: Willingness to work either Weekdays/Weekend shift, day shift (7am-3pm), evening shift (3pm-11pm) and night shift (11pm-7am).

This is the Sisters of Mercy Convent , a private residence for retired Sisters. We are not open to the public , offering a peaceful, relationship-based setting focused on dignity, compassion, and individualized care.

You will be supporting a small community of retired Sisters in a mission-driven environment where caregivers are truly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the nurse in providing direct patient care

• Check and record vital signs and report changes in condition

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding

• Administer oral medications under nurse/physician direction

• Observe, document, and report resident conditions and reactions

• Assist with mobility, ambulation, and outings

• Maintain resident comfort, dignity, and safety at all times

Required Qualifications:

• Valid CNA or STNA certification

• Current CPR/BLS certification

• Geriatric/Gerontology experience required

• Ability to work evening (3pm–11pm) and/or night shift (11pm–7am)

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Professional, compassionate, and service-oriented

Preferred:

• Prior experience in healthcare or religious/non-profit organizations

• Previous work with religious life strongly preferred

• Understanding and appreciation of the Sisters of Mercy mission and values

Position Details:

• Status: Per Diem (2 openings)

• Location: Savannah, GA

• Pay Range: $17.00 – $21.00 per hour

• Shifts Needed: Evenings and Nights
