Paraeducator (Special Education Community Based)
Highline Public Schools is seeking multiple Paraeducator's (Special Education Community Based) to join their team for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! The job of Special Education Paraeducator Community Based provides support to the instructional program, both on-campus and in community settings or home settings, for students with significant cognitive disabilities, behavioral issues and functional life skill needs; assists in implementing plans for instruction; monitors student behavior during non-classroom time; and provides information to appropriate school personnel.
Position Hours: 7.0/day, Employee Calendars Position Type: Classified, Regular Bargaining Unit: Teamsters III Pay Rate (Annualized): 2025-2026 rates Level 16: $29.71-$32.74/hourly Start Date: 09/01/2026
