Network Administrator
Location: St Louis, Park (Hybrid would be ideal)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator with a strong background in infrastructure management and security. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in managing and maintaining networking technologies such as VPN, Pulse Secure, Cisco, Firewalls (including Palo Alto), and SolarWinds. Additionally, experience or knowledge in network engineering is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN solutions.
Manage and troubleshoot VPN solutions, ensuring secure and reliable remote access for employees and clients.
Administer Pulse Secure platform, including configuration, maintenance, and user support.
Configure and maintain Cisco networking equipment, including routers, switches, and access points.
Monitor and maintain network security, including firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto), intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security appliances.
Implement and manage network segmentation and access control policies.
Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement network improvements and enhancements.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Utilize SolarWinds or similar network monitoring tools to proactively identify and address network issues.
Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulations.
Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT teams.
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in networking and security.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role.
Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, etc.).
Experience with VPN technologies, particularly Pulse Secure.
Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco networking equipment.
Hands-on experience with firewall technologies, including Cisco ASA and Palo Alto.
Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools, such as SolarWinds.
Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.
Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer) are a plus.
