Registered Nurse - NICU - Nights

Role Overview Provides professional nursing care in a Level III NICU, ensuring patient safety and well-being in a family-centered, single-room environment. Key Responsibilities Assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan, implement, and evaluate care using critical thinking skills. Monitor patient progress, document observations, and delegate tasks appropriately. Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to meet unit goals. Qualifications & Skills Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree required within five years if initially holding an Associate Degree. Current Illinois RN licensure and BLS certification. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six months of hire. NICU experience preferred. Additional Requirements Rotating night shifts with weekend and holiday rotations. Occasional floating to other women and children units. #J-18808-Ljbffr
