Registered Polysomnographic TechnologistWe are seeking a skilled Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) / Sleep Technician to join a healthcare team focused on diagnosing and supporting patients with sleep-related disorders.In this role, you will conduct comprehensive sleep studies, monitor patients throughout testing, operate advanced polysomnography equipment, and assist physicians with accurate diagnostic data. This is an excellent opportunity for a sleep technologist who is passionate about patient care and sleep medicine.Responsibilities include preparing patients for sleep studies by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort and safety. You will set up, operate, and monitor polysomnography (PSG) equipment and related diagnostic systems. You will perform and monitor EEG, respiratory, cardiac, oxygen saturation, and other physiological measurements during sleep studies. You will assist with the setup and monitoring of CPAP and BiPAP therapy during sleep testing. You will perform manual scoring and analysis of sleep study data in accordance with established protocols. You will identify and document abnormalities or events observed during sleep studies. You will accurately document patient information, testing data, observations, and results in the EMR/EHR system. You will obtain and monitor patient vital signs as required during testing.Qualifications include RPSGT certification or equivalent credential required. Previous experience conducting polysomnography/sleep studies preferred. Strong understanding of sleep medicine, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and sleep-wake disorders. Experience with PSG monitoring, EEG, CPAP, and BiPAP equipment. Ability to accurately monitor and document patient vital signs and physiological data. Experience with manual sleep study scoring and interpretation of collected data. Proficiency with EMR or EHR systems and clinical documentation. Strong patient-care and communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and healthcare team members.
