Job Summary:

As a Maintenance Director at Etowah Health and Rehabilitation, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our facility, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our patients and staff. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and interior/ exterior repairs

• Manage and coordinate maintenance activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and inventory management

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and industry standards

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to reduce costs and increase efficiency

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and minimize disruptions

• Supervise and mentor maintenance staff, providing guidance and training as needed

• Identify and prioritize maintenance projects, allocating resources and personnel accordingly

• Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, invoices, and inventory

• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely and effective manner

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field a plus

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and traverse throughout the facility

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines

Work Environment:

• This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week

• May be required to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
