Senior Manufacturing ManagerBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manufacturing Manager to lead PAC-3 Seeker, Sub Assemblies and Test for Production and Sustainment on A shift in Huntsville, AL.We're looking for skilled manufacturing professionals who are passionate about leading and innovating in Boeing's Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems business.Position Responsibilities:Ensures a positive and safe culture / environment in PAC-3 Seeker Factory related operationsManages employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplinesDrives continuous improvement, standard work, and best practices within the Production SystemConsults on factory activation expansions to achieve rate increases on production and sustainmentImplements robust process improvement program focused on The Cut the CoRRS, defect elimination, and root cause and corrective action (RCCA) processesProvides indirect leadership of Materials Management, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, EHS, and Quality personnelLeverages collaboration with peers on other Programs to replicate and share efficienciesThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim pre-start and final post-start U.S. Secret clearance is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree or higher5+ years' experience in a leadership or management role5+ years' experience implementing continuous process improvement, lean processes, and employee involvement and engagement strategies in a manufacturing environment5+ years' experience with business problem identification, data collection and preparation, interpretation and problem solving5+ years' experience leading or managing cross-functional or cross-organizational teams within manufacturingExperience managing a Collective Bargaining Unit (CBU)/hourly union-represented workforcePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Master's Degree or higherExcellent people and communication skills and leadership skills that can motivate employeesExperience leading either a complex military system hardware software integration effort or a complex military system final customer testing and verification effortExperience leading large scale, cross functional projectsExperience in managing project schedules and managing programs and projectsConflict of Interest:Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Work Location:This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
