Manufacturing Engineer (Active Secret Clearance )

Manufacturing Engineer - Palmdale, CA. Pay Rate: $70-$90/Hr. on W2
Work schedule will be Thursday - Sunday, 1st shift (5:30 am - 6:00 pm)
This would be a 12-Months contract with a potential to get extended .
US Citizenship and Active Secret Clearance is required.
Summary:
Optimizes manufacturing processes, procedures, and layouts for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality. Implements automation, robotics, and CAD software. Analyzes 3D models for digital work instructions and process improvements. Defines operations procedures and sequences for excellence. Evaluates equipment performance, initiates corrective actions, and integrates data analytics for continuous improvement. Collaborates on product design to enhance manufacturability. Requirements:
• Experience in a manufacturing environment working cross functionally with other disciplines including industrial engineering, planning, scheduling, Quality Assurance &/or production planning
• Experience with some combination of the following: experience with manufacturing processes and procedures including: fabrication, assembly, machining, and electrical in several disciplines including composites, metallics, machining, bonded assemblies &/or installations.
• Previous experience with lean manufacturing and process improvements
• Experience with MRP system or SAP or other Manufacturing Execution System (MES) application Required Skills:
Catia V5
