Chenango Memorial Hospital Norwich, NY Pay Range: $91.86$107.20 per hour Chenango Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Per Diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Department (ED) team. This role is ideal for a confident and capable advanced practice provider who thrives in a fast?paced, high?acuity environment and values flexibility in scheduling.

Primary Department, Division, or Unit: Emergency Department, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital

Annual Compensation Range: $91-$107/hour

Position Highlights

Responsibilities

• Provide high?quality, patient?centered care in a busy Emergency Department
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad spectrum of acute and urgent conditions
• Perform appropriate procedures within scope
• Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic studies
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with ED physicians, hospitalists, and ancillary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active NYS license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience required
• Prior Emergency Department or urgent care experience strongly preferred
• Strong critical thinking, decision?making, and procedural skills
• Excellent communication and patient?care abilities
• Ability to work independently in a fast?paced environment
