Supply Chain & Procurement Specialist Schedule: Flexible start time (7:00 AM to 9:00 AM) Monday through Friday- 8 hours Employment Type: Full-Time Join a Growing Manufacturing Organization We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Supply Chain & Procurement Specialist to support purchasing operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys building supplier relationships, solving supply chain challenges, and ensuring materials are available to keep operations running smoothly. What You'll Do Manage purchasing activities to ensure materials, supplies, and services are available when needed. Review material requirements and coordinate procurement plans to support operational goals. Monitor inventory levels and identify replenishment needs. Source products and services from suppliers while evaluating pricing, lead times, and quality. Create and process purchase orders while maintaining accurate purchasing records. Track open orders and proactively communicate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules. Analyze supplier performance, pricing, and service levels to support sourcing decisions. Coordinate outsourced processing and vendor-managed activities. Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and negotiated pricing agreements. Partner with production, operations, and other internal teams to resolve supply chain challenges. Help prioritize purchasing activities to support production schedules and customer commitments. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, order management, inventory control, customer service, or a related field. Strong relationship-building skills with vendors and suppliers. Experience managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Excellent attention to detail and follow-through. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Experience working with ERP, purchasing, inventory, or manufacturing software preferred. Ability to analyze inventory, supplier, and pricing data to support business decisions.
