Locations: Travel to Downers Grove the 3rd Friday of each month. Pay Range $22.90 - $34.35 Requirements MUST have a medical assistant diploma or 2 years of medical assistant experience or be a certified MA with 2 years of medical assistant experience, to qualify. What Will You Do Schedule: Monday-Friday: Varied start and end times of 0800-1730. 8.5 hour days with a lunch. As a Medical Assistant , you'll play a vital role on the care team - supporting providers, connecting with patients, and helping ensure a seamless, compassionate experience every day. Welcome patients and support their transition into care. Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings. Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures. Administer medications and vaccines as directed. Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing. Document care accurately in the electronic health record. Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care. Where You Will Work Location: Park Ridge is the main location. Travel to Downers Grove the 3rd Friday of each month. We are Looking For High School Diploma or GED required. Completion of an accredited or approved program in Medical Assistant, or 2 years of verifiable full-time experience as a Medical Assistant within the last 5 years . Phlebotomy skills, preferred . Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Must sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, crawl, kneel, climb, and reach above shoulders throughout the workday. Ability to lift 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other team member, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case- by -case basis. Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine-hand manipulation skills. Will be exposed to the following hazards on a frequent basis: mechanical, electrical, chemical, blood and body fluids. Will be required to wear protective clothing and equipment as needed. Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
